Our Trip To Africa...

When I got back from my trip, a colleague of mine gave me the idea of writing up an email about our trip since everyone asks about it.  This turned out to be a great idea so rather than typing up an email, I decided to create a post on it and narrate it with pictures.

Heres our trip to Africa in 40 or so pictures.....

Our trip began in the sandy white beaches of the Seychelles where we...

spent a lot of time reading on the beach...

saw giant tortoises...

took a helicopter ride....

to a more remote island....

where we rode bikes...

to secluded beaches....

and to fresh fish but then headed back to...

our island for more beach time....

and some massages....

and then saw an amazing sunset on our last night before we headed to....

the safari portion of our trip where we dressed the part....

and lived in the bush where we saw

a ton of animals including the big five which are....

lions...

leopards....

cape buffalo...

rhinos....

and elephants which we saw from our room...

which was not the only animal living near us as we had a pack of hyenas in our backyard.....

a snake who blocked our entrance way....

and a baboon that tried to break in....

although our favorite animal may have been the hippos....

although the lion cubs were pretty cute too....

but sadly we had to leave the bush and our safari group for....

the cape wine lands....

for post safari R and R....

as well as some wine tasting....

and fancy food....

and some more wine tasting......

while overlooking these stunning views...

but then it was time to head to the coast....

where we saw a lot of penguins....

and hiked at the Cape of Good Hope....

which was also stunning....

but then headed to Cape Town as pictured from our hotel balcony where we....

caught a sunset in Camps Bay....

walked around the colorful neighborhood of Bo Kaap.....

enjoyed mussels and wine at the waterfront....

spent some time at the beach....

and on our last morning we climbed table mountain....

which almost killed me....

but the views were worth it and it capped off what was surely....

the trip of a lifetime!
